Do you ever give “pay per click” love?

When I like a post or feel that I’ve learned something from a blogger’s post, I usually leave a comment telling the author.  However, sometimes I also like to give an ad a click.  I figure why not give the author a few cents in addition to the comment.  I was wondering if any of you other bloggers do this?

I have a similar post which was a wee bit direct to the point, and, wow, the responses I get from both sides of the issue are hot, to say the least :)
Do I do it? Only if I like the blog AND the ad.

Funny, just last week I was talking to a friend and we mentioned how if we find an interesting, helpful, website, we’ll look for the ad that is most interesting to us and click on it.

Of course I do it. Maybe it’s just good business practice… It seems like most of the people who don’t do it have the argument “That’s unethical!” They likely have limited experience in the business world.

I’m still pretty new to the blogging area. Usually, I’m looking for sites that can help me to learn. If that includes ads that sound remotely helpful, I’ll click to see what’s on the other side.
